“Based on the previous reviews, I had gone to three other places on my search for a vacuum cleaner, even though this store is right down the street. All three of those stores either had zero selection or poor customer service. I finally decided to just go to the one down the street. I called first to see if they had the model (Eureka Boss) that I was interested in and the man answered promptly and gave me an honest and concise answer, so I went in. The owner let me try the vacuum, explained how everything worked, what problem it originally came in for (it was used), how he fixed it, and was reasonably flexible with the price. I bought the vacuum, just finished cleaning my whole apartment, and I am completely satisfied. I would say that compared to any of the other vacuum / appliance stores I went to, or really any other local business I’ve been to in Northern Virginia, this place had excellent customer service. Although I can’t speak to their maintenance, I was happy with my experience.”

“The cord-retracting device on my vacuum stopped working and I brought it in here to see if they could fix it. It isn’t a very expensive vacuum, so I was a little hesitant about what it might cost to get it fixed and had been putting off taking it in for repairs for months. I came into Virginia Vacuums on a Saturday afternoon, the owner took it in the back right away, and a few minutes later it was fixed. I asked what I owed him and he said nothing. Even though it was a few minutes work I really appreciated this. You don’t see this type of friendly small business too often these days.”
